Busy in the studio, these paintings are reminders of places I've visited, hiked or kayaked in 2022. Hope you are inspired to spend time outdoors enjoying nature too. I continue to practice with John Pototschnik's "Limited Palette, Unlimited Color" theories to achieve color harmony. I've also been admiring the techniques of some tonalist artists which may be visible in some of these paintings' more atmospheric qualities and muted colors.

These paintings are all for sale in my online storefront/gallery. Click on each painting's title for its full description at www.KatheAltazan.com. Or to visit my gallery in person, email me at KatheAltazan@gmail.com for an appointment.
